# `TzWorld.Backend.DetsWithIndexCache`

Resolves a timezone from a coordinate using a DETS file of timezone
shapes together with an in-memory index of their bounding boxes.

> Use `TzWorld.Backend.SpatialIndex` instead.

> `SpatialIndex` reads the `.tzw1` data file directly, so it does not
> need the separate DETS cache this backend maintains -- a file an
> order of magnitude larger than the data itself. It also answers
> lookups from `:persistent_term` rather than through a GenServer
> mailbox, so it is faster and has no single-process bottleneck.
